Brazilian newspaper Estadao report says that Neymar has advised Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho against a Barca move.

Coutinho is currently with the Brazil squad for the World Cup Qualifiers against Ecuador and Colombia on August 31 and September 5 respectively.

Estadao claims that Neymar told Coutinho that he won’t regret Liverpool’s decision to keep him away from Barcelona.

Spanish newspaper Sport has also reported on this development. There has been huge speculation surrounding Coutinho’s move to Barcelona. Liverpool have rejected every bid from Barcelona and it’s hard to understand the Barcelona board’s obsession with the player.

Liverpool has meanwhile acquired the talented Naby Keita from RB Leipzig for a record 51.9 million euros.

Barcelona’s transfer situation continues to baffle the Camp Nou faithful. Having acquired Dembele they could have looked for a midfielder that can control the midfield. However, reports suggest that they have moved on from OG Nice midfielder Seri.
