You’ve to explain to me the rules of cricket: Pep tells Kohli

India skipper Virat Kohli conducted an interview with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola on Instagram Live and the duo had a friendly conversation with the latter telling the former to explain him the rules of cricket when he travels to India.

"I couldn't have imagined talking to you Live on Instagram and having a conversation with you. I've been a big fan and watched the 'all or nothing' documentary twice. This is a little bit of a fanboy moment for me," Kohli told Guardiola.

Pep said that he had never been to India but urged Kohli to invite him for a dinner when he travels to India in the future.

"If you invite me in a good restaurant, you can explain to me the rules of cricket. Oh my! It's the most complicated game! I came from Catalunya and there cricket is not important but in England it is. I have some friends and everytime I tell them to explain me the rules they say 'no you've to go to the stadium'. And you can play three days in a row and get a draw and I can't understand it," Pep told Virat.

When Kohli asked how he keeps his hunger alive, Guardiola said it should come from players as without them, nothing can be achieved.

"The hunger should come from every single player... The past is the past and the challenges are new now. You have to move forward. But I can say 'do it, do it', but if every player does not feel the same way, the manager, at the end, can do nothing," the City manager said.
