Under-15s thrash Sri Lanka 7-1

Striker Al Amin Rahman scored five goals as Bangladesh recorded a massive 7-1 win in their second match of the SAFF U-15 Championship at the Kalyani Stadium in West Bengal today.

Al Amin opened the scoring after the half-hour mark and ensured a 3-0 lead for the defending champions a minute before the break following a wonderful solo goal from skipper Rakibul Islam two minutes earlier.

Al Mirad made it 4-0 three minutes after the break before Sri Lanka pulled one back two minutes later. However, Al Amin completed his hattrick, scoring from the spot before the hour mark and made the scoreline 6-1 in the 66th minute. The Bangladesh No 10 wrapped up the goal-glut in the 71st miute.

With their 5-2 win against Bhutan in the opening match, Bangladesh now top the five-team table with six points from two matches.
