U-15s take on India today

Bangladesh will face India in their last group match of the SAFF U-15 Women’s Championship at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu today in what will be a dress rehearsal for Tuesday’s final between the two sides.

Both sides are already through to the title-deciding match following two wins each, and today’s match, which will kick off at 3:00pm, will be an opportunity to weed out mistakes of previous matches for both sides.

Bangladesh, the 2015-edition champions, won 2-0 against Bhutan before beating Nepal 2-1 while India, the defending champions, have been much more convincing, beating Nepal 4-1 before thrashing Bhutan 10-1.

Bangladesh, though, will have an opportunity today to exact revenge for their 1-0 defeat in the last edition’s final against their neighbours ahead of the final.
