Senior div football underway

The TVS Senior Division Football League got underway at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur yesterday.

Kawranbazar Pragati Sangha, who were demoted from the Bangladesh Championship League last season, got a 2-0 win over Koshaituli Samaj Kalyan Parishad, with Mohammad Afroz scoring both the goals for the winning side in the first half of the match.

13 teams are taking part in this third-tier football league of the country, which is being held after a one-year gap.
