Semifinal matches set

The United Group Faraaz Inter-University Gold Cup football tournament’s semifinal lineup was completed as International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) and South East advanced into the last-four battle by beating their respective rivals at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur yesterday.

IUBAT blanked BRAC University 2-0 while South East University defeated North South University 4-3 in tiebreakers after regulation time ended 1-1.

IUBAT will play Gono University while South East University face Bangladesh University of Textile in the semifinals on October 12.
