No Messi as Argentina declare 25-man squad

Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni announced his list of 25 players for his team’s friendly matches against Chile and Mexico next month.

Argentine star Lionel Messi was not included in the squad as he was handed out a three match ban when he lashed out at CONMEBOL at the end of the recently concluded Copa America, where they finished third. Sergio Aguero along with Angel Di Maria were also left out from the team as Adolfo Gaich and Paulo Dybala take charge of the attack.
