Brazil star Neymar welcomed the idea of having a foreign coach for the Selecao with speculations floating around current Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti being tipped to take charge after his contract with the Los Blancos expires.

Despite the president of the CBF Ednaldo Rodrigues remaining confident of getting the signature of the Italian coach, Ancelotti has repeatedly asserted that he wishes to honour his contract with Real which runs until 2024.

Rodrigues said he would also approach the Spanish club's president Florentino Perez and described Ancelotti as their first choice to replace Tite, who left the Brazil team after their quarter-final exit at the World Cup in Qatar in November.

"He remains the Plan A and in this trip with the selection in Europe we can have greater clarity," Rodrigues said on Tuesday in a press event at CBF headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.

Amidst such interest, Neymar welcoming the idea of having a foreign coach particularly someone of Ancelotti's stature only strengthens the possibility of the marquee move.

The 31-year-old deemed Ancelotti as a winner and someone who would have a lot to teach to the Selecao.

"We will have the opportunity to have a foreign coach. Ancelotti has won everything and I am sure he will teach us a lot," the Brazilian forward told TV Band.
