Nasiruddin given a week for resolution

Defender Nasiruddin Chowdhury was found guilty by the Players' Status Committee and asked by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) to resolve his issue with Abahani within seven days.

Abahani lodged a complaint on October 16 alleging that Nasiruddin signed for Bashundhara Kings despite taking Tk 3 lakh from the them.

"Nasiruddin has been asked to reach a compromise with Abahani within seven days. Otherwise he will be suspended from all BFF-sanctioned football events for one year according to the bylaws," read a BFF statement.

The committee also asked Sheikh Russel, Muktijoddha Sangsad and Chittagong Abahani to clear dues to some previous season's players. If they fail to comply, they will be docked three points each in the upcoming BPL.
