Bashundhara Kings' Nigerian striker Elita Kingsley yesterday received his Bangladeshi passport which will now enable him to play domestic football for the club as a Bangladeshi citizen.

"I feel very very good and happy after receiving Bangladeshi passport," said an elated Kingsley to The Daily Star today.

"Of course I celebrated this moment with my family members at home. I can't wait to represent Bashundhara Kings. I have been with them for a long time and am very excited to come back," Kingsley added.

Kingsley will be able to play for Kings in the rest of the matches of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League, which is scheduled to resume on June 22.

Having received his Bangladeshi passport, the Nigerian-born footballer also moved one step closer to playing for Kings in the AFC Cup in August this year.
