Army to honour Bangladesh women’s football team

Bangladesh Army will hold a reception for the Bangladesh women's national football team on Tuesday (September 27, 2022) for making the country proud in the 2022 SAFF Women's Championship.

The army made the announcement in this regard today (September 23, 2022), said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.

They also announced to award Tk 1 crore as a present to the women's team.

Bangladesh Women Football Team clinched the maiden title of the SAFF Women's Championship beating Nepal by 3-1 goals.

Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also declared prize money and announced houses for those women football team players who require homes.
