Messi sends Obama daughters signed Argentina jerseys

When US President Barack Obama and his family travelled to Argentina recently for a diplomatic visit, his daughters Sasha and Malia apparently had a request that most kids might have made.
They wanted to meet Lionel Messi.
The Barcelona talisman, who was in the country ahead of World Cup qualifiers for his national team, and POTUS's daughters weren't able to connect, but Messi made good on the missed opportunity on Friday. He signed a pair of his No. 10 national team jerseys for the two and sent them to the White House.
How's that for a meeting at the crossroads of football and foreign relations?
