Messi’s beautiful gesture to a young fan

Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi’s gesture brightened up the day for a young fan, who was initially barred from approaching the Argentine by the security men.

Messi is currently with the Argentina squad as the team prepares for a crucial World Cup qualifier against Uruguay.

As Messi arrived at a hotel in Montevideo, a young fan came running towards him to greet the Argentine. The security team immediately stepped in and pulled the boy away. When Messi realized what was happening, he stopped in his tracks and waited for the young fan to be brought back to him.

The boy was in tears and when he finally was brought back to Messi, the Argentine smiled towards his young fan and embraced him.

Messi posed for a selfie with the fan and consoled him for a few moments. The boy stopped crying and Messi's gesture brought a smile to his face.
