Joshua reveals Ibra's advice

Anthony Joshua, the world heavyweight boxing champion, has revealed the special advice he received from Zlatan Ibrahimovic before his fight with Carlos Takam on Sunday. Joshua stopped Takam in the 10th round in front of a world record indoor crowd of 78,000 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium and the legendary Swede was ringside for the bout. Ibrahimovic gave him some very helpful advice in Joshua's dressing room just prior to the big fight, as recounted by Joshua to the Daily Mirror. “He heard me say 'I'm not perfect, but I'm trying' and told me to say 'I'm perfect and I'm not trying!'” Meanwhile Zlatan told the paper: “It's my first time to come and watch him and he's the perfect example of how a boxer needs to be. He's powerful, he has the movement, he's a knockout artist.” And finally, a quite brilliant line from the Manchester United star: “He's not yet as good a boxer as I am a footballer, but he's getting there!”
