Ariful props up Victoria

A brace from Arifur Rahman powered Victoria SC to a 2-0 win over Chittagong Mohammedan SC in the Marcel Bangladesh Championship League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday.

The second victory in six matches helped Victoria SC climb up to seventh position from the bottom with six points while Chittagong Mohammedan slipped to the bottom with three points.

Arifur broke the deadlock in the 18th minute before sealing the victory in the 37th minute.
