Shoaib-Sania share romantic twitter banter

Shoaib Malik struck a 24-ball 51 and grabbed the player of the match and the player of the series as Pakistan won the T20 series against Sri Lanka by 3-0.

Malik’s wife and former tennis star Sania Mirza was in attendance as Pakistan swept the series in front of their home fans in Lahore.

Malik was awarded a motorbike for his player of the series performances and the bike became the instigator of a romantic tweeter banter between Sania Mirza and Malik.

Sania tweeted to Malik in Hindi, where she wrote: “shall we go for a ride.”

Malik, who was not to be left behind and replied: Yes! Yes! Get ready quickly, I’m on the way.”

Sania was quick to pounce on the opportunity for more banter when she found Pakistan’s Shadab Khan on the back of Malik’s bike.

She wrote: “Ok never mind.. I guess the seat is taken already.”

However Malik reaffirmed that he left Shadab at the ground far away and there was no problem in going for the ride.
