Peninsula champs

Team Peninsula won the AK Khan Corporate Cricket League after defeating AK Khan and Co by 97 runs in the final.

Peninsula were sent into bat after losing the toss and they piled on 230 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted twenty overs.

Peninsula's Sajib gave AB de Villiers a run for his money, scoring 107 runs off just 32 balls. For the opposition, Shyamal and Saiful picked up two wickets apiece.

In reply, AK Khan and Co were bundled out for just 133 runs in 19.2 overs.

Sayem top-scored for the runners-up with 21 off 12, while Peninsula's Galib picked up 3 wickets.

Peninsula's Sajib was named man-of-the-match for his destructive performance with the willow.
