Yasir Ali coming back

After missing out on the two-match Test series due to a back injury , middle-order batter Yasir Ali Chowdhury has now been ruled out of the ODI and T20I series against West Indies, BCB confirmed on Wednesday.

Yasir sustained the injury during the three-day practice game ahead of the first Test and following the MRI scan, a Discogenic Back Pain was found on the lumbar spine.

"Yasir has not been recovering as anticipated and could not start rehab. As he is still restricted in his physical work, we can conclude that his injury time will be extended. He will be missing the remaining matches of the West Indies series," Bangladesh team's physio Bayjedul Islam said.

Yasir will return to Bangladesh and will continue his recovery under the supervision of the BCB medical team.
