The start of the second ODI between Ireland and Bangladesh in Chelmsford on Friday has been delayed due to rain. Cricket Ireland tweeted that it's raining and the toss has been delayed.

The first ODI of the three-match series was washed out on Tuesday. Ireland were three down for 65 in 16.3 overs in reply to Bangladesh's 246 before rain put an abrupt end to the proceedings.

With the rain, gone were the chances of Ireland directly qualifying for the ODI World Cup. Bangladesh, though, would want to have more points to their names and a good preparation in foreign conditions after having beaten the Irish 2-0 in the home series recently.
