Bangladesh ODI captain Tamim Iqbal, who recently pulled himself out of reckoning for the upcoming World T20, returned to training in Mirpur today following two months' rest and recovery.

The left-handed batsman took time off from the game to recover from a knee injury following the ODI leg of the Zimbabwe tour, skipping the T20s in Zimbabwe and the home T20 series against Australia and New Zealand.

As the batsman is looking to play in the Everest Premier League franchise T20 tournament in Nepal starting next week, he had a knockabout against net bowlers at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today.

Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan, who is currently in UAE for the second phase of the Indian Premier League, has joined the team's training ahead of their first match on Monday.

The all-rounder said that Kolkata Knight Riders will bounce back following a poor start in the first phase in India. KKR, on their social media accounts, posted a video of Shakib's net session, following which the all-rounder said, "The first match is few days later. We are all ready for this. Continue to support us. I hope KKR will play great in the second half of the event."

KKR, who are currently seventh on the eight-team table, take on Virat Kohli's RCB tomorrow.
