Shanto, Mominul gain big in ICC Test batters rankings 

A thumping victory over Afghanistan in the one-off Test in Mirpur saw Bangladesh batters Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mominul Haque gain significantly in the ICC Test batters rankings. 

Shanto advanced 25 steps and currently sits 54th, while Mominul climbed 17 places to 53rd. Shanto struck hundreds in both innings, while Mominul struck a ton after 26 innings for the Tigers in their record 546-run win. 

Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Ebadot Hossain and Shoriful Islam have also propelled in the bowler's ranking. Miraz has come up by one place and sits 25th, Ebadot progressed two places to 62nd, while Shoriful sits 71st.
