Mushy named in Fox’ Test team of the decade

Bangladesh wicketkeeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim has been named in the Fox Sports’ Test team of the decade.

Renowned Australian channel Fox Sports have put forward their Test team of the decade and the 32-year-old was included as a wicket-keeper batsman in the side that is comprised with the likes of Virat Kohli, David Warner, Steven Smith and retired players like Alastair Cook and Kumar Sangakkara. New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has been named as the 12th man of the squad.

Having played 53 Tests in the decade, Mushfiqur remains second in the top run getters’ list for Bangladesh with 3531 runs to his name. Tamim Iqbal, who scored 3719 runs in 46 matches remains on top of the list.

Mushfiqur had scored six centuries and two double hundreds in the decade with his career best score of an unbeaten 219 coming against Zimbabwe in November 2018.
