Former cricketer Atik Khan passes away

Former national cricketer Abdul Atik Khan breathed his last yesterday at the age of 60 after a cardiac arrest.

Atik had been a member of the Bangladesh squad in the 1986 ICC Trophy in England. He had a distinguished club career, playing for prominent sides like Abahani and Rupali Bank.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) extended its deepest condolences to the family of the former cricketer and prayed for the salvation of his soul through a media release yesterday.
