Bangladesh lost opener Anamul Haque Bijoy early in the innings in their second ODI against India at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today.

With the pacers being able to extract some shape and bounce off the Mirpur pitch, India managed to get an early breakthrough.

The one to depart was Anamul Haque when the right-hander was struck plumb in front by a Mohammad Siraj delivery in the second over. His dismissal was followed by a dropped catch at slip just in the previous delivery as the batter failed to capitalise on a decent start. He had to walk back after a nine-ball 11.

Anamul had started the second over in rapid fashion, smashing consecutive boundaries off the first two deliveries -- the first through the mid-wicket region and then following it up with a sparkling cover drive. The right-hander took a double in the third delivery, accumulating 10 runs from the first three deliveries of the over.

Bangladesh lead the three-match series 1-0.
