BCB sells TV rights for 19.07m dollars to Ban Tech

Bangladesh Cricket Board has sold its television broadcast rights of the home series for next two years for 19.7 million dollars to local marketing agency Ban Tech.

The broadcast rights are applicable for the national men's team's home series from May 18, 2021 to October 5, 2023, according to reports.

Bangladesh national team is scheduled to play nine home series during this time frame comprising seven Tests along with 18 ODIs and 19 T20Is.

Ban Tech was the only bidder in the open tender for the rights, it has been learnt. They quoted just above the USD 19 million floor price set by BCB last month.

Ban Tech had earlier bought the TV rights for the home series against West Indies.
