BCB election on October 6

Following a meeting, the five-member election commission today announced that the upcoming Board of Directors' Election 2021 will be held on October 6 at the boardroom of the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

The draft of the voters' list will be submitted on September 22, and after objections and hearings, the final list will be published the day after on September 23.

The nomination papers for the election will be distributed on September 24 and 25, and the date for submitting the nomination papers is on September 27.   

A candidate can withdraw nomination papers on September 30 by 12:00pm. The final list of the candidates will be published later on the same day.

The results of the election will be published on October 7.
