AIUB become champions

American International University Bangladesh (AIUB) became champions of the Bangabandhu Inter University Sports Champs 2019 Cricket Tournament. AIUB beat Daffodil International University in the final held at the Daffodil Cricket Ground on Monday. Batting first AIUB scored 224 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, Daffodil International University scored 109 all out in 15 overs. AIUB remained unbeaten throughout the tournament. Joyraz Sheik Emon of AIUB won the Man of the Final cap for his contribution with the bat (115 runs in 49 balls).  Mr. Nazmul Hasan Papon MP, president, Bangladesh Cricket Board was the chief guest and Mr. Naimur Rahman Durjoy MP was the special guest in the final and handed over the champion award to the winner during the prize giving ceremony. Honourable Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University, representative from tournament sponsor were also present in the final match.
