Bangladesh all-rounders Afif Hossain and Sheikh Mahedi Hasan left for Abu Dhabi last night to take part in the T10 League, which kicks off on Thursday.

The two payers were part of Bangladesh's ODI squad for the series against the West Indies, but they did not get to play any match during the series which finished yesterday, with the hosts winning 3-0.

Afif posted a picture on Facebook of himself alongside Mahdei aboard the flight to Abu Dhabi last night.

They will join four other Bangladeshis -- Nasir Hossain, Muktar Ali, Mosaddek Hossain and Sohag Gazi -- who are already with their respective teams in UAE.

Six Bangladeshi players were picked for the T10 League draft on December 23. Gazi, who was not in the draft, was later included in place of Taskin Ahmed, who was not given NOC by the BCB due to his selection for the Test squad for the West Indies series.

Afif and Mahedi will play for Bengal Tigers while Maratha Arabians will feature Gazi alongside Mosaddek and Muktar. Nasir has been scooped up by the Pune Devils.
