Hillol fall to Indira Road

Despite being bundled out for a meagre total of 143, Indira Road KC managed to register a sixty-run win over Hillol JS in the Women's Premier Division Cricket League at the BKSP in Savar yesterday.

After electing to bat, Indira Road found themselves in deep trouble owing to some tight bowling from Tanjila Islam, who ended up picking four wickets for just 16 runs in her 10 overs.

Rani Khatun also took three wickets for Hillol, while  Rebeka Sultana remained unbeaten on a team-high 37 for the batting side.

However Hillol were unable to chase the small target and were bowled out for just 83 runs after 40.2 overs.

Alpona Khatun and Fariha Islam bagged three each while Homayra Pervin took two wickets to successfully defend the total for Indira Road.
