England will start the tour to Bangladesh without head coach Trevor Bayliss who has been delayed in Australia due to a hitch with his visa, reports The Telegraph.

The England team are scheduled to land in Dhaka tonight for the month-long tour which will include three ODIs and two Tests. Bayliss, however, is not expected to arrive 'until the end of the weekend', which may mean Sunday. England’s only warm-up match is on Monday and they are expect to have their first net session on Sunday.

Shrouded in uncertainty for a period in the aftermath of the July 1 terror attack on a Gulshan cafe, this tour is set to take place under intense security precautions. The first sign of the hiked up security is the fact that the now-customary media presence at the airport to greet the arrival of a visiting team will be absent tonight.
