Bangladesh ace allrounder Shakib Al Hasan became the only man in world cricket to be his country's most successful bowler in all three formats of the game when he crossed Abdur Razzak's 206 wickets in one-day internationals today.

In the first game of the 3-match ODI series against Afghanistan at Mirpur, Shakib needed two more wickets to reach this unique milestone.

In the 41st over of Afghan's chase, Shakib got the prized wicket of Rahmat Shah to become the highest wicket-taker in ODI matches. Tigers allrounder broke the 144-run stand for the third wicket and brought back his side in the contest.

Shakib equaled Abdur Razzak's record for most ODI wickets (207) for Bangladesh when he sent back Afghan opener Shabir Noori in the 8th over. His cleverly disguised arm ball kept coming back and found the batter plumb in front of middle.

Shakib is the highest wicket-taker for Bangladesh in Tests with 147 scalps in 42 matches. In 54 T20 internationals, he has picked 65 wickets, and now has 208 wickets in 158 ODI matches.

Shakib's best bowling performance in Tests came against Zimbabwe when he took 10/124 at Khulna in 2014. In ODIs, his finest performance came against the same side when Shakib grabbed 5-47 at Mirpur last year. Shakib's best T20I bowling figures of 4-15 came against Oman at Dharamsala on March 13, 2016.
