Cricket: Mohammad Ashraful’s father passes away

Former Bangladesh international cricketer Mohammad Ashraful lost his father Abdul Matin last night at the Apollo Hospital, Dhaka.

Ashraful's father was undergoing treatment at the hospital after he was admitted with heart and lung complications few days ago, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.

In his Facebook page, the cricketer said:  My father is no more . He was sick . We admitted him in hospital. But last night we lost our father forever. He was the teacher of my life. Now how can I control myself ? Pray for him and also for us.

Abdul Matin passed away at the age of 72. He will be buried today at his ancestral home in Brahmanbaria after the zuhr prayer.
