BD thrashed by India

Bangladesh suffered a massive 107-48 defeat to India in their second match of the South Asian zone pre-qualifiers of the Dhaka Bank FIBA U-18 Asian Championship at the Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium yesterday.

Bangladesh made a positive start to their campaign by thrashing Maldives 102-50 in their opener, but were helpless against favourites India, who took a comfortable 47-25 point lead in the first half.

With their third straight win, India are on the verge of clinching the title, needing only one more win from today's fixture against Maldives. Bangladesh will play their third match against Sri Lanka.
