Zim warm-up cancelled

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officially cancelled tomorrow's warm-up match between Zimbabwe and BCB XI at BKSP, following the delay in arrival of the Zimbabwe team.

After missing two dates, Zimbabwe are now scheduled to arrive in Dhaka tonight to take part in the tri-series starting from January 15 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. The warm-up match was cancelled as it would not be possible for the visitors to play a match tomorrow after arriving in four separate groups tonigh.

The tri-nation will kick off with the match between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe were originally scheduled to reach Bangladesh on January 10, but deferred their arrival by a day and were expected to land yesterday, but it was delayed once again because of ticketing complications.

Sri Lanka is scheduled to arrive on January 13.
