Tigers to start against SA

Bangladesh will start their 2019 World Cup campaign against South Africa on June 2 at the famous London venue of The Oval. ESPNCricinfo published the full fixtures of cricket's showpiece event in advance yesterday, a day before the ICC board is scheduled to approve the fixtures. The event will open with hosts England taking on South Africa at the same venue on May 30.

The 50-over event will feature only 10 teams and each team will play each other once. In other words, Bangladesh will have a minimum of nine matches to ensure that they are one of the four teams to progress to the semifinals. The final will be held on July 14 at Lord's.
