Comilla Victorians skipper Tamim Iqbal and wicket-keeper Liton Kumar are fined over verbal exchange with the umpire during their match against Rangpur Riders at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on 18 November.

Both players have been fined 50 percent of their match fees after they were in breach of BCB's level 2 Code of Conduct. Tamin and Liton were found to be in breach of Article 2.2.5, which relates to 'showing serious dissent at an umpire's decision', BCB media release suggests.

The complaint was brought on by on-field umpires Ranmore Martinesz and Mahfuzur Rahman, third umpire Morshed Ali Khan and fourth umpire Mozahiduzzaman.

Both cricketers were animated when batsman Rovi Bopara was given not out to an appeal for caught behind. Both cricketers have accumulated three demerit points each for the breach and have accepted the sanctions. Four demerit points results in automatic suspension for one game.
