Tamim Iqbal reaches 6,000 ODI runs with another fifty in the tri-nation tournament.

Tamim reached his third consecutive fifty in this tournament and is in a rich vein of form. Tamim needed 66 runs to bring up his 6,000 runs in ODIs and the southpaw got there in the first delivery of the 35th over with a single off Zimbabwe skipper Graeme Cremer.

Tamim then proceeded to hit Blessing Muzarabani right over the bowler's head to cross the 6,000 ODI runs. The left-hander however once again failed to convert a fifty into a hundred when he was outfoxed by a Graeme Cremer googly in the 39th over.

Tamim's innings ended on 76, following his 84-run knocks in the first two matches of the tournament. The southpaw reached the landmark of 6000 runs in 177 matches with 41 half centuries and 9 tons to his name.
