Razzak, Tushar honoured by the Tigers before SL match

The BCB today honoured veteran cricketers Abdur Razzak and Tushar Imran for achieving personal landmarks in first class cricket.

Bangladesh are playing Sri Lanka in the tri-nation series game today and before the toss the team management honoured both Razzak and Imran as Tigers' captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan handed out crests to the duo.

Razzak grabbed his 500th wicket in first class cricket while Tushar Imran crossed 10,000 first class runs during this years National Cricket League.

Mashrafe had previously ensured that the two heroes were receiving congratulations and respect from the players and also reminded the media that it is as important to focus on the dedication of players like Tushar and Razzak in the domestic circuit as it is to report on what Shakib-Tamim-Mashrafe-Mushfiqur are saying.

"10,000 runs and 500 wickets; it's no joke.," Mashrafe had said after Razzak and Tushar's landmark achievements.
