Bangladesh women's team made it to the final of the Women's T20 Quadrangular Series in Patna, beating Thailand women by two wickets courtesy of a breezy knock from Fahima Khatun.

Chasing only 121 for victory, Bangladesh lost a number of wickets at the end to make their task difficult. Shamima Sultana's 37-ball 38 had carried them to 91 in 16.1 overs before she fell leg before in the 17th over. Soon Bangladesh went from 91 for 2 to 112 for eight with three wickets falling in the 19th over.

Fahima hit four boundaries in the last over to remain unbeaten on a 13-ball 28 and secure passage to the final. Bangladesh will play India B Women in the final in Patna on Wednesday.
