Tigers reach Colombo

The Bangladesh cricket team reached Colombo for a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka at 5:20pm Bangladesh time today. The Tigers will play the first of their three matches against the hosts on July 26. The second ODI will take place on July 28 and the series will be wrapped up on July 31.

Led by Tamim Iqbal in the absence of injury-hit Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, the Bangladesh squad features 14 members with Mashrafe replaced by all-rounder Farhad Reza on the eve of the tour. All-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin, who suffered a lower-back injury on Friday evening, was replaced by pacer Taskin Ahmed. 

Before departure, stand-in captain Tamim said that a challenging series awaits the Tigers.
