Soumya to captain BCB XI against Zimbabwe

Soumya Sarkar is going to captain Bangladesh XI side against Zimbabwe in a practice one-day match at BKSP on 19th October.

Soumya was left out of the ODI squad for the upcoming series against Zimbabwe but he has been in good touch with the bat and the ball. His latest exploits saw him bagging five wickets in an innings while also scoring 76 and 71 in the first and second innings of the National Cricket League match against Rangpur Division.

Newcomer Fazle Rabbi will also feature in the practice match along with Ariful Haque and Mohammad Saifuddin after all there were also included in the squad for the ODI series.
