Schedule for Bangladesh’s tri-series in Ireland

Bangladesh will play a tri-series against Ireland and West Indies in Ireland from May 5 to May 17 as part of their preparation for the upcoming World Cup in England. The squad for the Ireland series and the World Cup is set to be the same for the Tigers and will be announced at the same time.

The series will consist of a double round-robin stage where each team will play the other two sides twice. The series begins on 5 May with the West Indies facing off against the home side and concludes with a final in Malahide on 17 May.

The series will be hosted in Dublin, and the matches will all take place between Castle Avenue (Clontarf) and The Village (Malahide).

The Bangladesh players are currently trying to recover from the tragic events that took place during the tour of New Zealand which led to the cancellation of the third Test against New Zealand after a horrific shooting incident which the Tigers narrowly escaped.

The Tigers previously took part in a tri-series in Ireland alongside New Zealand during 2017 in order to prepare for the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 in England. Following the Ireland series, Bangladesh will then embark on their World Cup journey with their first match against South Africa at London scheduled for June 2.
