It was learned from the official website of Surrey County Cricket Club that the England opener Jason Roy, who plays for the County side, will fly out from London on Thursady to join Sylhet Sixers.

According to the announcement made in Surrey's official website, Roy is said to be featuring in the remainder of the sixth edition of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for Sylhet. However, there was no official announcement regarding this from the franchise.
