Bangladesh women's team cricketer Jahanara Alam had important contributions for Velocity during her first stint at the IPL. She will be featuring for Velocity yet again in the upcoming edition of the IPL and wanted to take her game to the next level through experience gathered from the tournament.

Jahanara and Salma Khatun, who will be featuring in the tournament for the first time, will fly to UAE on Wednesday.

Jahanara was eager to leave her mark in the upcoming tournament yet again. "IPL is a big platform and the opportunity doesn't come easily. I consider myself lucky to be able share the dressing room with some of the world's best players. I will be able to use that experience when I return to the country. I feel that I would go forward a few steps after playing this tournament," she said.

There was some disappointment mixed with pride the last time Jahanara played in the tournament as her team lost out in the final match. She reiterated that the target was to play well and win the tournament this time around.

"Last time we went to the final but lost to the eventual champions. If a similar opportunity arrives, I would look to give my best and attain victory for my team.

The IPL would begin on November 4 and the two Bangladesh stars will come face to face on November 5 when Velocity faces Salma's Trailblazers. The final of the tournament is slated for November 9.

The two Bangladesh cricketers will have to quarantine for six days before they enter the bio bubble to play the tournament.
