The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a 22-member Emerging Women's squad for their upcoming five-match unofficial One Day series against South Africa, starting from April 4 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

Left-arm pacer Fariha Islam Trisna, who impressed for Bangladesh Blue in the recently concluded Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games in Sylhet, got her maiden call up for the emerging side. Fariha returned impressive match-winning figures of six for 14 against Bangladesh Red in the opening game of the Bangladesh Games earlier this month.
