Contrasting results all around

The Prime Bank Young Tigers National School Cricket Tournament witnessed contrasting results in all seven of yesterday's fixtures at venues.

In chase of a low 106-run total, Uchail High School won by five wickets against Habiganj High School while Biddyt Unnyan Board defended their miserly 71-run total to win their encounter with Khulna Islamia Collegiate School by seven runs in Khulna.

The biggest win by runs on the day was registered by Government Model Secondary School, who won by a whopping 112 runs against National Secondary School. Conversely, Mukul Niketan High School won by nine wickets -- the biggest win by wickets on the day -- against Edward Institution in Mymensingh.

In the day's other matches, Gias Uddin High School won by 69 runs against B.R. Government C.P High School while Vibekananda High School and Chorbaria High School won by 18 runs and 71 runs against S.M High School and Nuria High School respectively.
