Chamily flies to capital today

The Rajshahi district administration will have former national women's team cricketer Chamily Khatun flown to Dhaka today to receive treatment at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), under a directive from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The former national team cricketer has been lying uncared for ever since she received an injury during training eight years ago and has recently developed a crippling illness.

Alamgir Kabir, ADC (General) of Rajshahi, informed yesterday that she would be flown abroad as well if necessary.
