Ariful and Khaled included in Test squad

All-rounder Ariful Haque and pacer Khaled Ahmed have been included in the Test Squad for the upcoming Test series against Zimbabwe, it was learned.

Ariful has been with the Tigers for a while now and has been training in full flow. He was included in the Tigers' Asia Cup squad, although he did not play a single match. ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza had recently said that Ariful deserves a chance too.

26-year-old Khaled Ahmed, who plays for Sylhet Division in the National Cricket League is another name was included in the Test squad. Khaled Ahmed bagged a fifer in the ongoing NCL match against Dhaka Metropolis.

Ariful was also included in the Tigers' ODI squad for the ongoing ODI series which Bangladesh have clinched after their clinical seven-wicket victory yesterday but he is yet to play any ODI matches till now.

Ariful had struck a magnificent double hundred in the NCL following his return from UAE. The first Test is scheduled to begin on November 3 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
