Shahid Afridi guided Dhaka Platoon to five-wicket win -- their third victory in the BBPL -- with a 16-ball 26 under pressure against Comilla Warriors.

Dhaka lost opener Anamul Haque for naught but youngster Mahedi Hasan was in fantastic touch, hitting a 29-ball 59, laced with two fours and seven sixes. Dhaka then lost three wickets inside eight deliveries. Tamim Iqbal and Mominul Haque took guard 44-run stand for the fifth wicket but the former fell after a struggling 34 off 40 deliveries. Afridi came to the fore and hit some fantastic shots to propel Comilla to the win with Mominul Haque unbeaten on 28 at the other end.

Earlier, Bhanuka Rajapaksa blitzed a 65-ball unbeaten 96 to take Comilla to a challenging total of 160 for three. The Warriors lost Soumya Sarkar, Sabbir Rahman and Dawid Malan cheaply but a 103-run stand between Rajapaksa and Yasir Ali (30) saw Comilla post a strong total. To add insult to injury, Rajapaksa, who had to be recalled back from the dressing room after being given out off a no-ball while on 20, added 76 runs more to the total.
