Afghanistan A thrash Bangladesh A

Bangladesh A were handed a 10-wicket thumping at the hands of the visiting Afghanistan A in their first one dayer at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram today.

Electing to bat, Bangladesh A could only manage a total of 201 for eight in 50 overs. Afif Hossain's 59 off 71 deliveries remained the highest score for the side.

Coming in to chase the modest total, Afghanistan romped to victory with all of their 10 wickets intact as they reached the target in just 43.5 overs. Rahmunllah Gurbaz remained unbeaten on 105 off 138 balls while his partner at the other end, Ibrahim Zadran amassed an unbeaten 86 off 125 balls as they helped their side reach the target with 37 balls to spare.
